Create a form

Inqform is an easy-to-use tool for building dynamic online forms and collecting data. This article will guide you through the basics.

To begin, you’ll need a free Inqform account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one here. Once you have an account, you can log in to your Inqform workspace.

In your Inqform workspace, locate the + New form button at the top right. Click this button to open a popup where you can name your form and select a layout. You can change the layout at any time later.

New form button

Forms can have different layouts:

  • Classic: All questions are displayed on a single page.
  • Focused: A conversational style where each question is presented one page at a time.

After naming your form and selecting a layout, click the Create button. You will be redirected to the form builder page.

Saving

Forms are Autosaved whenever you make any changes. When you’ve finished building a form, click Publish to make it ‘live’, so you can share it online.

If you want to edit your form after publishing it, you can do so at any time. Your changes will be saved automatically, but they won’t appear in your live form until you click Publish again.
